Online Private Lessons! Mission:
In her classes she emphasizes the importance of a strong technical foundation to help propel the student to become a storyteller, especially in musical theatre performance. Past teaching experience includes dance and theatre camp for ages 5-11, along with five years of private lesson teaching for all ages from 5-28 years old. She specializes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Modern techniques, and Musical Theatre voice. Danielle has helped my daughter improve her singing tremendously. Danielle always has a song prepared and provides my daughter with areas to improve upon. Danielle is an excellent teacher. " |
What to Expect:
Voice:
All lessons being with a warm-up to cater to the individual needs. Warm-up exercises focus on breath, range, and placement. We will work on mastering both the musical theatre belt and legit voice, along with "pop" styles, with specific exercises catered to your specific needs. Each student will choose a song(s) based on options given by Danielle and ones they suggest. They will use a strong foundational technique worked on in the lesson to help propel them to find their voice through song.
*Beginner voice lessons for students ages 5-12 is her speciality and most popular type of teaching.
Experience: Six years of formal private voice training in musical theatre voice. Kristin Linklater voice and speech technique.
Acting:
Each acting lesson will begin with a brief warm-up exercise. Acting lessons will be focussed on monologue and scene work, as well as audition coaching. With Danielle's background in Suzuki and Stanislavsky technique, she is well equipped with strategies to uncovering the most authentic and truthful performance within each student.
*Acting lessons are often paired with voice lessons within the same 30-45 minute time frame. They can also be separate.
Experience: Six years of formal training in Adv Suzuki, Viewpoints, Stanislavski, Chekhov, and Shakespeare, TV/Film.

All lessons begin with a quick warm-up before diving into the technique portion of class. Whether it be tap, ballet, modern, or musical theatre we will begin with strengthening the foundational technique of the form(s). Each class is tailored to the dancer's individual needs and is catered to what their goals and aspirations are. Technique is emphasized as a vehicle for storytelling through movement.
Experience: Ten+ years of formal training: Ballet, Jazz, Tap Modern, MT Styles, Hip-Hop, Pointe, African Dance.

Online Rate: $30/30 minutes | $45/45 minutes | $60/1 hour
In-Person Rate: $100/1 hour 30-45 minute lessons recommended for beginners + younger students (5-11 years old) All payment is due prior to the lesson start time (Venmo or Zelle) Cancellation Policy: Cancel within 24 hours of the lesson: You are responsible for the full lesson cost. Grace Period: *There is a 10 minute grace period before the lesson is cancelled and the full payment is due. Missed minutes on your end are not guaranteed to be fulfilled. |
